A Tallahassee native, Rachael hails from a theatre performance background. Ever since she realized (at 10 years old) that her favorite films like Annie (the 1982 version - aka the best version), Fiddler on the Roof, and the Sound of Music weren't just movies to watch on the TV, but musicals she could perform in onstage, Rachael has been involved with theatre in any way she can.
After focusing on performance and technical theatre through all of high school and community college, Rachael became a paralegal. During this 5 year period working in the legal industry, she rediscovered her love of stage management and ultimately decided to return to her passion as a career. She graduated in May of 2023 with a BA in Theatre with a focus in Stage Management from Florida State University. Go Noles!
Favorite past credits include Sister Act (Calling SM), Legally Blonde (AD, prop coordinator), and Dragons Love Tacos (Calling SM). Rachael is passionate about theatre for young audiences and wrote a children's musical called High Tide: a Musical Pirate's Tale (Arrg!) that was produced by the Monticello Acting and Dance Company (MADCo.) in the summer of 2013. Rachael is currently interning at the Muny in St. Louis, MO in the Education Department, where she acts as a Youth Coordinator for the Kids and Teens Ensembles. Beginning September 2023, she will be serving as Venue Stage Manager onboard the Norwegian Escape with Norwegian Cruise Lines.
Rachael is a avid Disney Adult™, enjoys watching Will and Grace and Star Trek, reading YA LGBTQ+ sci-fi, and consistently beating her 5 siblings at Doctor Who trivia. Her home base is currently in Tallahassee with her girlfriend Tori.
