Stephanie Gould (SAG-AFTRA/AEA) is an award-winning writer and actress whose appearances include a recurring role as Carmen Campos on the 6th season of the Netflix hit series Orange is the New Black, The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel opposite Jane Lynch on Amazon, Mr. Robot opposite Rami Malek, and HAPPY! opposite Christopher Meloni on Syfy.

In addition to television and several films, Stephanie has an extensive theatrical and improvisation background, working on everything from the Off-Broadway play by Scott Aiello in the title role of Bernie in Bernie and Mikey’s Trip to the Moon at 59E59 Theaters, Shakespeare’s Richard III to her own solo show entitled Walk With Me about her life growing up with cerebral palsy and learning to walk again at 13. The show premiered at the 4th Annual SOLOCOM Festival at the Peoples Improv Theater in 2016, and went on to tour in Boston and returned to NYC for a successful run at the PIT in 2017.

As a narrator, Stephanie specializes in audiobooks in the genres of science-fiction, fantasy, and young adult fiction. She has lent her voice to the books Roxanne in La La Land by L.A. DeVaul, Blood Lite by David Boyer, Last Guard Standing by Heather Dowell, Kill Dolls: Season 1 and Kill Dolls: Season 2 by Aka Nate, and Darren Mayhead by M.P. Lombardo which are all on sale through Audible, Amazon and iTunes.

As a screenwriter, Stephanie’s short film script Fading Connections won Best Micro Short Script and Best Possibilities at the Top Script Awards in March 2023 and was named a Quarterfinalist in the ScreenCraft Short Screenplay Competition and the Inroads Fellowship: Season 5 for Filmmatic (2022), and the Filmmatic Short Screenplay Awards: Season 7. Her short screenplay The Notice was named a Quarterfinalist in the Los Angeles International Screenplay Awards (2022).

The short script version of Hearts in a Sling won Best Screenplay at the Ethereal Frames Film and Art Festival, Best Short Screenplay at the Poombukar Independent Film Festival, Best Short Screenplay at the Snow Leopard International Film Festival, named a Finalist in the San Francisco IndieFest Screenplay Competition (2023), Finalist at the Tatras International Film Festival, Finalist in the Onyko Films Awards, and Semifinalist in the Los Angeles International Screenplay Awards (Fall 2022), and is currently* a Finalist at the Rome Prisma Independent Film Awards, Triloka International Film Festival for Best Screenplay (Short Film), and Semifinalist in the Outstanding Screenplays Shorts Competition among its many accolades.

She holds a B.A. in English from Saint Anselm College, and is currently pursuing her M.A. in English & Creative Writing with a concentration in screenwriting from Southern New Hampshire University.

Recognized for her academic work, Stephanie is a member of Sigma Tau Delta (The International English Honor Society) as well as Sigma Alpha Pi (The National Society for Leadership and Success) and holds a certification in coaching and mentoring.

She divides her time between NYC and Boston, and is represented by Kazarian/Measures/Ruskin & Associates, and BAC Talent.

She is a member of SAG-AFTRA and the Actors’ Equity Association.
