Bio Anne Marie Carden, a lyric soprano, hails from Western Springs, Illinois. In addition to her Bachelor of Music degree in Voice Performance from Lawrence University, she has had the opportunity to study and perform in various places such as the renowned Cincinnati Conservatory of Music, Salzburg, Austria with the Frost School of Music, as well as Chicago with Chicago Summer Opera. Anne Marie’s most recent performance was Mrs Gobineau in Menotti’s The Medium with Chicago Summer Opera. She has many years of ensemble experience in fully staged productions including Donizetti’s Don Pasquale with Boston Conservatory, Rossini's Le comte Ory and Copland's The Tender Land with Lawrence University, and Verdi's La Traviata at Cincinnati Conservatory of Music Summer Opera Studio. Her education has provided multiple opera scene productions where she has studied Eliza in Nico Muhly’s Dark Sisters, Clorinda in Rossini’s La Cenerentola, Romilda in Handel’s Serse, Donna Anna in Mozart's Don Giovanni, Servilla in Mozart's La clemenza di Tito, and Nanetta in Verdi's Falstaff. Anne Marie is currently pursuing a Master of Music degree at Boston Conservatory at Berklee under the tutelage of Kathryn Wright.
