Born and raised in Anchorage, Alaska, soprano Danielle Rogers has performed roles in opera and musical theater including: Julie (Firebird Motel), The Witch (Into the Woods), Mabel (Pirates of Penzance), Woman 1 (Songs for a New World), and Yonah (Children of Eden). In addition to her roles, Danielle has performed in various scenes programs which include: Jenna (Waitress), Beth (Little Women), Alice (Falstaff), and Countess Almaviva (Le Nozze di Figaro).

Biography

Danielle Rogers

Born and raised in Anchorage, Alaska, soprano Danielle Rogers has performed roles in opera and musical theater including: Julie (Firebird Motel), The Witch (Into the Woods), Mabel (Pirates of Penzance), Woman 1 (Songs for a New World), and Yonah (Children of Eden). In addition to her roles, Danielle has performed in various scenes programs which include: Jenna (Waitress), Beth (Little Women), Alice (Falstaff), and Countess Almaviva (Le Nozze di Figaro). In 2012, Danielle moved from her home in Anchorage, Alaska to pursue her dream of studying voice at the Interlochen Arts Academy in Interlochen, Michigan where she performed with the Interlochen Arts Academy Opera Theater Ensemble and the Interlochen Academy Choir performing various concerts in the Traverse City Area. Upon graduating Interlochen in 2014, Danielle moved to Tacoma, Washington to attend the University of Puget Sound where she studied under Dr. Dawn Padula and earned her Bachelor's of Music in 2018. During her time at University of Puget Sound, Danielle performed with various ensembles including the Adelphian Concert Choir, Voci d’Amici, and the Dorian Singers. Highlights from her ensemble experience include performing Verdi’s Requiem with the Adelphian Concert Choir and the Portland Symphonic Choir under the direction of Maestro Carlos Kalmar. She has been a featured soloist with the Adelphian Concert Choir and Dorian Singers performing selections from Mozart’s Coronation Mass, O Salutaris Hostias (St. Thomas Aquinas), and Pergolessi’s Stabat Mater. Miss Rogers was also the winner of the 2017 Concerto Aria Competition where she was a featured performer on the Puget Sound Symphony Orchestra’s final concert of the season titled Theatricality and Nostalgia. Danielle received her Master of Music degree at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music studying under Susanne Mentzer.
