"Jen Hanuschak is a soprano from Ohio, currently living in Las Vegas. She would like to set an example for singers of all abilities, and encourage their inclusion in the standard opera repertoire. Most of all, however, her biggest goal is to just keep singing! While at Kent and Youngstown State Universities (Ohio), Jen was the mezzo soloist for four performances of Händel’s Messiah. Whilst in grad school, she sang in the Dana Vocal Society, along with her future mentor and teacher, Lyric Opera of Orange County's Artistic Director, Ms. Diana Farrell, singing arie antiche and English airs. Jen moved to Las Vegas and her first opera role was Händel’s Alcina. During the pandemic, she virtually duetted with soprano Rachel Willis-Sørenson, singing “Pie Jesu,” from Andrew Lloyd Webber’s Requiem.
