Hailing from Pittsburgh, PA, tenor Michael Jankosky recently performed in Mendelssohn’s Lobgesang with the San Francisco Symphony; J.S. Bach’s Christmas Oratorio and Magnificat, and C.P.E. Bach’s Magnificat with the SF Choral Society; and as soloist in Rachmaninoff’s All-Night Vigil with the Pacific Boychoir Academy. He gave the premiere workshop performances as Artemis Dodge in David Garner's opera Mary Pleasant at Land's End. Upcoming performances include tenor soloist in J.S. Bach’s Cantatas BWV 78 and 125 with the Cantata Collective and Pacific Boychoir Academy. He performs regularly as a professional chorister with SF Opera and Philharmonia Baroque Orchestra and Chorale. He is also an avid cyclist and hiker.
