Trey Fitzgerald is a young, Houston-based Tenor known for a warm, lyric sound, and praised for his ability to perform in multiple genres. In the 2025 season, Trey made his professional debut singing the role Mr. Clayton in the regional premier of Stephen Schwartz’s opera Séance on a Wet Afternoon. In the spring, he had the incredible opportunity to sing the role Pang in a concert performance of Turandot alongside the esteemed Christine Goerke and Limmie Pulliam. While preparing that role, he was able to dig into his musical theater roots and perform the role Kodaly in She Loves Me. In February, he reprised his role as Gherardo in Gianni Schicchi in a new adaptation of Il trittico set by Kathleen Belcher at The Moore’s School of Music.
He is looking forward to the 2025/26 season, where he will be singing with Daniel Knaggs’ new Cor Mundi Chamber Choir.
