Victoria Sadow made her professional debut with Opera Southwest, covering the role of Amenaide in their 2016 production of Rossini’s Tancredi. Her recent operatic appearances include Gretel in Humperdinck’s Hänsel und Gretel, Lucia in Donizetti's Lucia di Lammermoor, Annina in Strauss II's Eine Nacht in Venedig, Donna Elvira in Mozart's Don Giovanni, Susanna in Mozart’s Le Nozze di Figaro, Esmeralda in Smetana’s The Bartered Bride, and Lauretta in Puccini’s Gianni Schicchi. Her oratorio credits include Mendelssohn’s Psalm 42, Brahm's Ein Deutsches Requiem, Faure's Requiem, and Sato’s Requiem Pacis. As an accomplished competitor, Ms. Sadow was the Fourth Place winner at the 2021 Vienna Summer Music Festival Vocal Competition, First Place winner at the 2014 Classical Singer Regional Vocal Competition and at the 2012 National Association of Teachers of Singing Vocal Competition, as well as Second Place at the 2012 Reiman Opera Competition. Born and raised in Phoenix, AZ, Ms. Sadow holds a Master of Music degree in Voice Performance from the University of Minnesota and a Bachelor of Music degree in Voice Performance from the University of Arizona. She currently makes her home in Washington.
