A skilled tenor, Andrew Riedel transitioned to full-time tenor repertoire after extensive vocal study and has studied classical voice since March 2018. He has performed a wide range of operatic arias and art songs in numerous recitals, performances, and choral settings. He made his operatic debut in November 2025 with UNT Opera in Sergei Rachmaninoff’s Aleko. In May 2026, he will make his role debut as Tamino in Mozart’s Die Zauberflöte with the UNT Summer Opera. Continuing his operatic development internationally, he will sing the role of Don José in Bizet’s Carmen in July 2026 at the Vienna Opera Academy in Vienna, Austria.
