American baritone Anthony Eversole is an accomplished vocal artist based in the Bay Area. Eversole’s “powerful voice” and “dominating presence” have brought him success in opera, concert, recital, and musical theatre. Noteworthy roles include Don Giovanni/Don Giovanni, Oscar Hubbard/Regina, Sharpless/Madama Butterfly, Ollie Jr./A Family Reunion, Falstaff/Falstaff, Thoas/Iphigénie en Tauride, Papageno/Die Zauberflöte, Gianni Schicchi/Gianni Schicchi, Sweeney Todd/Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street, Rambaldo/La rondine, Peter/Hansel & Gretel, Belcore/L’elisir d’amore, Vidal Hernando/Luisa Fernanda, and Top/The Tender Land. Eversole has performed with organizations such as Charlottesville Opera, Utah Festival Opera & Musical Theatre, Tulsa Oratorio Chorus, The Baltimore Symphony, The Castleton Festival, Wolf Trap Opera, The Maryland Opera Studio, and others. Anthony’s solo concert repertoire includes the Brahms German Requiem, Fauré’s Requiem, Beethoven’s Symphony No. 9, Mendelssohn’s Die erste Walpurgisnacht, Haydn’s Nicolaimesse, Haydn’s Creation, Vaughan Williams’ Hodie, Britten’s War Requiem, and others. Eversole holds degrees from Utah State University (BM vocal performance, BME choral music education), the University of Oklahoma (MM vocal performance), and is an alumnus of the Maryland Opera Studio at the University of Maryland, College Park (DMA opera performance). Dr. Eversole has served on opera and voice faculties at Oregon State University, SUNY Potsdam, and currently resides in the Bay Area where he teaches voice at Silicon Valley's Opus 1 Music Studios.
