Carlos Solorzano is a professional drummer & songwriter from Southern Arizona who is available for drumming services & music licensing opportunities. He also has a solo drumming act where he adapts world rhythms to the American drum set in order to imitate the sound of a percussion combo. He has performed this is act in clubs and festivals all over Arizona and California and in a master class setting at places such as the Music Instrument Museum in Phoenix, KGUN;'s Tucson Morning Blend Television Show, Pima Community College, Los Angeles Harbor College, Tucson Children's Museum, Motherland Music and the Carson Community Center and at special events like the Arizona Black Film Showcase, AFASA African Festival and at other special events throughout the state of Arizona.

He works primarily in the Tucson music scene with working bands, in musical theater while also being on call for studio sessions at multiple local recording studios. He has also taken the time to release his first drumming book titled "Precision Drumming Volume One."

Carlos has been featured both as a performer and writer from DRUM! Magazine and is currently writing a monthly feature titled "The Desert Drummer on all things Drumming" for the Independent Music Show Magazine."
