Celina Randazzo began her 2024–2025 season with a concert at Gathering of Light hosted by pianist Wally Frank. Her program included “Summertime” from Porgy & Bess, “Till There Was You” from The Music Man, “Someone to Watch Over Me” from Oh, Kay!, “Cry Me a River,” “I’ll Be Seeing You,” and more. She was joined by saxophonist Glenn Tomassi.
In early 2025, Ms. Randazzo appeared as a featured soloist at the Morgagni Medical Society Gala, where she performed arias “È strano...Sempre libera” from La traviata, “Quando m’en vo” from La bohème, “Chi il bel sogno di Doretta” from La rondine, and “Il mio rigor dimentica” from L’elisir d’amore. She also performed Italian duets alongside soprano Lydia Saylor, with pianist and coach Ronald F. Land, and host/guitarist Edward Smaldone.
During mid-2025, Celina performed in Musica Obsidian’s Voce di Vino Concert at SquareWine & Spirits on June 13, where she sang “Ah, mio cor” from G. F. Händel’s Alcina and “Ach ich liebte” from W. A. Mozart’s Die Entführung aus dem Serail. Additionally, she recently completed the OperUs Young Artist Academy 24/25 in Trieste, Italy. She performed in their Final Concert on June 21, 2025 at the Sala Bergamas in Gorizia, Italy where she sang “Ah, non credea mirarti…Ah! non giunge” from La sonnambula and “Ach ich liebte” from W. A. Mozart’s Die Entführung aus dem Serail.
Ms. Randazzo earned her Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance with Cum Laude from the Aaron Copland School of Music in May 2024. Her operatic roles there included Gretel in Hänsel und Gretel, partial role of Alcina in Alcina, Flora in The Turn of the Screw, Madame Goldentrill in Mozart’s The Impresario, Valencienne in The Merry Widow, and Lisette in La rondine. She also performed as the soprano soloist in Schubert’s Mass in G.
She previously earned her Arts-Endorsed Diploma from the Frank Sinatra School of the Arts, where she majored in voice. Notable roles included the Mother in Amahl & the Night Visitors, Christine in The Phantom of the Opera, and Velma in Hairspray. She also appeared as the soprano soloist in Schubert’s Mass in Eb and was ensemble for their production of Ragtime. During her senior year, she participated in MasterVoices’ Side-by-Side Internship through Exploring the Arts, performing in productions of Let ’Em Eat Cake and Schӧnfeld’s Iron & Coal.
Celina has performed at many prestigious venues, including Carnegie Hall, Madison Square Garden, Radio City Music Hall, the Ziegfeld Theater, Shubert Theatre, The Church of St. Luke in the Fields, The Plaza Hotel, The Manhattan Club, and numerous other locations throughout New York City. She also performed the Star Spangled Banner for the New York Mets at CitiField and the San Francisco Giants at Oracle Park.
