A tenor with a voice of clarity and warmth, Jack Keller seeks to communicate his story to the world with his dark timbre and colorful expression. A native of Baltimore, MD, Jack has begun to build his career through his concert engagements, as well as on-stage work.
In July of 2025, Mr. Keller had the opportunity to perform the role of Elvino in La Sonnambula at the Mediterranean Opera Studio and Festival in Caltagirone, Sicily under the exciting direction of Nelly Miricioiu. During the fall of 2024, he was privileged to have collaborated with Cincinnati Opera’s Opera Fusion: New Works, where he originated the role of Mechtild in Sarah Kirkland Snider’s opera: Hildegard. Other roles include Alfred in Die Fledermaus at New England Conservatory of Music in Boston, MA, and King Kaspar in Amahl and the Night Visitors with Maryland Opera in an installment of their “First Friday’s at Boordy Vineyards” with Maestro James Harp in Hydes, MD.
In the upcoming 2025-2026 production season at CCM (University of Cincinnati), Jack will portray the roles of Le Doyen de la Faculté in Cendrillon, as well as The Beadle in Sweeney Todd. The latter will be the first installation of a new project at CCM, which features the collaboration between the Opera and Musical Theatre departments on a single production.
Jack began his musical journey as a boy chorister at Old Saint Paul’s Church in Baltimore, MD under the direction of Dr. Jeremy Filsell. Shortly after, he found himself in Midtown Manhattan, where he attended Saint Thomas Choir School, becoming a fixture in the Saint Thomas Boy’s choir and performing solos regularly in church, in performance around Europe, and on their Fauré Requiem CD. While at St. Thomas, attending a performance of Anna Bolena by Donizetti at The Metropolitan Opera inspired him to pursue a career as a singing actor.
Jack’s concert work includes a performance as Tenor Soloist in Handel’s Messiah, as well as a soloist in an “On Broadway” concert, both in partnership with First Church in Chestnut Hill, MA. He also had the pleasure of working with artist Terence Gower and pianist JJ Penna, creating an installation of Five Phrases from “The Song of Solomon” at The Glass House in New Canaan, CT.
Jack is currently pursuing his Master of Music degree at the College-Conservatory of Music (University of Cincinnati) and will graduate in 2026. He completed his Bachelor of Music in Voice Performance from New England Conservatory of Music in 2022.
