Jing Zhang is a Mezzo-Soprano and originally comes from China. She is pursuing her Doctorate program in Vocal Performance at University Wisconsin of Madison. She also earned her Performance Diploma in Vocal Performance from Indiana University in 2020. Jing performs different types of works, inclduing a couple of chamber works with symphony orchestra as a soloist, such as Lauda Sion, Op.73 composed by Felix Mendelssohn and Passeggiata in tram in America e ritorno composed by Louis Andriessen. Jing’s performance repertoire also consists of opera works including La Calisto, La Traviata, Albert Herring, Parsifal, Gianni Schicchi, Le Nozze di Figaro, and Die Zauberflöte.
