Lucia Muniagurria

Lucia Muniagurria – Soprano

Argentinian soprano Lucia Muniagurria is celebrated for her warm, lyrical sound, expressive phrasing, and vibrant stage presence. A versatile artist, she moves seamlessly between opera, concert, and choral repertoire, bringing depth and sincerity to every performance.

Lucia holds a Master of Music in Vocal Pedagogy (Classical Voice) from Carthage College (Wisconsin, USA), graduating with a perfect GPA, and a Bachelor of Music in Classical Voice from the Universidad Nacional de las Artes in Buenos Aires, where she graduated summa cum laude. Her artistry has been shaped by renowned teachers and coaches including Graciela Oddone, Kurt Link, Gustavo Lopez Manzitti, and David Jones, as well as masterclasses with celebrated international artists.

Currently a member of the Florentine Opera Chorus, Lucia’s recent highlights include Il matrimonio segreto (Carolina), Courageous Rose, and I Pagliacci. As a soloist, she has appeared with orchestras in both North and South America, most recently in the Winners Concert of the Carthage Philharmonic Concerto Competition 2024. Festival appearances have taken her to stages such as the Teatro Nacional de São Carlos in Lisbon and the Choralies Festival in France with the World Youth Choir.

An experienced educator, she has taught voice for a decade, working with singers of all ages and serving as a teaching assistant at Interlochen Summer Arts Camp. In Fall 2025, she will join the faculty at the Music Institute of Chicago, combining her performance career with her passion for vocal pedagogy.

Fluent in Spanish and English, and skilled in Italian, German, and French diction, Lucia’s artistry reflects her South American heritage and international training, with a commitment to sharing music that resonates with authenticity and beauty.
