Madeline Tokman

Madeline Tokman is a choral conducting master’s student at the Indiana University Jacobs School of Music, where she has served as assistant conductor of the Singing Hoosiers, assistant chorusmaster for Anne Frank (a premier) and Don Giovanni, and assistant director of the All-Campus Choir. Tokman received her B.A. from Yale, where she student conducted the Glee Club, directed Yale’s Jewish choir, and conducted a chamber orchestra. An emerging leader in Jewish choral music, Tokman has worked closely with Matthew Lazar and Joshua Jacobson. As a vocalist (Mezzo-Soprano), Tokman has performed as a soloist at Carnegie Hall and has sung in several professional ensembles.
