Irish American soprano Maeve Sullivan recently graduated Magna Cum Laude with her Bachelor of Music degree in Vocal Performance from Oklahoma City University (‘24). Currently, she is pursuing her master’s degree in Music Performance with a concentration in voice at the Royal Irish Academy of Music and is projected to graduate in June of 2027. Ms. Sullivan regularly performs in the operatic repertoire nationally and internationally, such as covering the role of Lisetta in La vera costanza by Franz Joseph Haydn this past January at the Samuel Beckett theater and singing operatic roles this past spring such as Ännchen in Der Freischütz. Ms. Sullivan has also given commended recital performances at the Whyte Hall in Dublin. Most recently, Ms. Sullivan toured Germany with the Cois Cladaigh choir as a featured soloist.

Previously, she featured in a double bill of the world premiere of Jake Landeau’s Pietà and Puccini’s Suor Angelica while at Oklahoma City University. In summer of 2023, Ms. Sullivan sang the roles of Rosina in Scarlatti’s Il trionfo dell’onore with the Voci nel Montefeltro festival in northern Italy as well as Mercédès in Bizet’s Carmen at Northwestern University. Additionally, she has performed with the Oklahoma City Philharmonic in Mendelssohn’s Elijah at the Civic Music Center (2023). One of her favorite credits includes performing as a soloist for the Gandhi 150: The Legacy of Peace celebration at The Field Museum in Chicago, where she performed for Mahatma Gandhi’s living relatives (2019).
