EXECUTIVE & ARTISTIC DIRECTOR – In addition to his musical exploits (see artist bios), Marc has extensive experience in the business world. As President of St. Louis based AAM Recordings, he has been responsible for client development and relations, graphic design, insert layout and distribution services, as well as successfully negotiating an exclusive licensing agreement with Sony/BMG Music Entertainment. He has served on the Board of the St. Louis Symphony Orchestra and served on numerous committees within that organization. Since the year 2000 Marc has been involved in a real estate investment partnership, buying, selling and developing properties in Florida, and the Northern Ohio-Lake Erie area. He has also successfully completed the course work and testing to receive an insurance license from the State of Missouri.
Marc Gordon served as English horn soloist and oboist with the St. Louis Symphony from 1972-2005. He performed with the Chicago Symphony Orchestra in that position replacing the retiring CSO English horn soloist until 2008 and then with the San Diego Symphony in the same capacity for the 2008-2009 season. A native of Chicago, he was educated at the Chicago Musical College of Roosevelt University and the American Conservatory where he studied with Ray Still and Richard Kanter. Marc was a member of the Grant Park Symphony in Chicago and was appointed to the English horn position with the Lyric Opera of Chicago. One year prior to accepting the English horn position with the St. Louis Symphony, he performed similarly as member of the Milwaukee Symphony.
