Nadine Adisho is a soprano from Salem, Massachusetts. She’s currently earning her graduate degree at Indiana University under the tutelage of Russell Thomas. She completed her undergraduate degree at University of New Mexico under the instruction of Olga Perez Flora and Kristin Ditlow. Adisho’s past roles include Susanna in Mozart’s Le Nozze di Figaro, Amy in Mark Adamo’s Little Women, Lesní Žínka (1st Wood Nymph) in Dvořák’s Rusalka, Second Lady in Mozart’s Die Zauberflöte, Nella (cover) in Puccini’s Gianni Schicchi, as well as various opera scenes from Strauss II’s Die Fledermaus (Adele), Britten’s Albert Herring (Miss Wordsworth), Poulenc’s Dialogues of the Carmelites (Madame Lidoine/Jeanne/Mathilde), Verdi’s Falstaff (Nannetta), Mozart’s Così fan tutte (Fiordiligi), Rossini’s La Cenerentola (Tisbe), and Argento’s Postcard from Morocco (Lady with a Cake Box). Adisho has performed with Carol Vaness & Zachary Coates Opera Workshop at IU, UNM Opera, Opera Lucca, LAHSOW, Opera on the Menu, Opera on Tap, as well as with Opera Southwest as a chorus member for Rossini’s Le Comte Ory, Armienta’s Zorro, and Bizet’s Carmen. Adisho has won and placed in competitions, including Vocal Artistry Art Song Festival and NATS. She is a proud recipient of a music merit scholarship at Indiana University, as well as at University of New Mexico during her undergraduate degree. She’s performed as a soloist with various choral ensembles, mainly performing sacred music. Outside of singing, Adisho enjoys playing piano, nature, and caring for animals.
