Victoria Schmidt is an opera singer from Kansas City, Missouri currently studying under Dr. Aidan Soder. Growing up, Victoria was heavily involved with the Lyric Opera of Kansas City’s education program, where her love for opera grew quickly. In high school Victoria left home to further her operatic career at the Interlochen Arts Academy. She has appeared as a guest artist and soloist with Opera On Tap KC, the Boston Conservatory, the Boston Italian Consulate, the Lyric Opera of Kansas City, and the Interlochen Arts Academy. Victoria’s most notable roles from operas and opera scenes include the Countess in Le Nozze di Figaro with the Boston Conservatory and UMKC, Ilia in Idomeneo with the Boston Conservatory, Frasquita in Carmen, and La Fée in Viardot’s Cendrillon with the Interlochen Arts Academy. Victoria received her Bachelors of Music in Voice Performance from the Boston Conservatory at Berklee and studied under David Small and Patty Thom.
