Victoria Schmidt is a soprano based in Kansas City, Missouri currently studying under Dr. Aidan Soder. Victoria’s upcoming engagements include performances with Music On Site, Inc. and the District Round in the Metropolitan Opera’s Laffont Competition. Most recently, Victoria was named a semifinalist in Tier I in the James Toland Vocal Arts Competition. Her most notable roles from operas and scenes include the Countess (Le Nozze di Figaro), Ilia (Idomeneo), Frasquita (Carmen) and La Fée (Cendrillon). Victoria received her Bachelor of Music in Voice Performance from the Boston Conservatory at Berklee and studied under David Small and Patty Thom.
