Biography

Hallie Geyh

At the age of 19 I began taking photos of weddings and became a second shooter for a photographer who photographed all over the country. When I was 24 I became a photo retoucher for a fashion magazine in NYC, and I apprenticed visual artists in the South of France. As a freelancer and consultant I have assisted fitness studios, aerial competitions, and social media firms with photography and videography . In 2016, I became Director of Marketing for a start-up in Indianapolis. In that position I helped create the brand and lead out team to the final round of the INX3 challenge (a competition to receive funding for tech start-ups in the Midwest). In pay-per-click marketing, as a Social Media Manager, and Online Reputation Specialist, at a fortune five hundred company, I became well versed in digital advertising and promoting online reputation. I then accepted a position as Project Specialist and Graphic Designer for the Provost’s office at Indiana University. I created graphics, photos and videos for social media, and assisted the communications team with a wide variety of projects. At the Jacobs School of Music, as the Communications Digital manager, I have worked to transform our social media into a creative and innovative platform that boasts more consistency, and which aims to spread information, to educate and to entertain.
