John Paul Huckle

Lauded for his ''grand voice'', with a rich and colorful timbre, and beautiful smooth legato,'' Bass John Paul Huckle has established himself as international talent of immense promise. Recently he was Quinalt in Adriana Lecouvreur at Teatro Carlo Felice in Italy, also making his Wagnerian debut as King Marke in Tristan und Isolde with the Claude Heater Foundation, as well as the Doctor in La Traviata and Sparafucile in Rigoletto with the Noli Musica Festival. A favorite among Italian audiences, Mr. Huckle began his 2019 season with multiple appearances at Teatro Carlo Felice, where he sang the role of Bonzo in Madama Butterfly and Angelotti in Tosca. Prior to the coronavirus pandemic, Mr. Huckle was slated to sing Sam in Un ballo in maschera at Teatro Carlo Felice, as well as Sparafucile in Rigoletto and Jigger Craigin in Carousel at Central City Opera.
