Biography

Aaron Smith

Aaron Smith is a an American Tenor, Violinist, and Composer. He has performed with Arizona Opera, First Coast Opera, Druid City Opera, Chandler Opera Company, and at the Brevard Music Festival, including roles such as Mr. Earlanson in A Little Night Music, Tamino in The Magic Flute, Tom Rakewell in The Rake’s Progress, Normanno in Lucia di Lammermoor and Alfredo in La Traviata. Aaron also enjoys performing concert works. He was privileged to appear as the tenor soloist in the Arizona premiere of Joseph Julian Gonzalez’s work Misa Azteca, the tenor soloist cover in Verdi’s Requiem under Keith Lockhart,  tenor soloist in Beethoven’s 9th Symphony, and in Handel's Messiah. This season he looks forward to joining Valley Opera for his role debut as Nemorino in The Elixer of Love.
