Biography

Abby Guido

Soprano Abby Guido, originally from Boynton Beach, Florida, is a double alumna of the Frost School of Music at the University of Miami. Studying in Robynne Redmon’s studio, Guido earned her Bachelor of Music Degree in Vocal Performance in 2023 and her Master of Music Degree in Vocal Performance in 2025. In 2022, Guido had the honor of creating the role of Caterina in the world premier of The Leopard composed by Michael Dellaira with libretto by J. D. McClatchy with Frost Opera Theater, conducted by Gerard Schwartz, alongside Kim Josephson, Kevin Short, and Robynne Redmon. The recording of The Leopard has recently been released on the NAXOS label. Guido later performed the role of Contessa in W.A. Mozart’s Le nozze di Figaro in 2023, conducted by Alan Johnson. She will perform Isabel in The Pirates of Penzance, Jo/Choir Director in Mayo Buckner, and cover Micaela in Carmen and Kate in The Pirates of Penzance at the Seagle Festival this summer.
