Amalia Crevani, an Italian-American soprano, is a graduate of the Yale School of
Music, DePauw University School of Music and the Juilliard School. She has
performed at the National Opera Center, Lincoln Center, and Carnegie Hall as well
as in Italy and France. Recent performances include “Amina”(cover) in La
Sonnambula (Teatro Nuovo NYC), “Asprano” in Vivaldi’s Motezuma (Opera Neo),
“Musetta” in La Bohème (Shakespeare Opera Theater), “Lauretta” in Gianni
Schicchi (Aspen), “La Comtesse Adele” in Le Comte Ory, and “Morgana” in
Alcina. Amalia studied at L'Accademia Chigiana in 2023 and performed at the
Aspen Music Festival and School in 2022 & 2024. Her concert repertory includes
Villa-Lobos’ Bachianas brasileiras with chamber ensemble and Bach’s cantata
BWV 51: Jauchzet Gott in allen Landen, with Maestro Nic McGegan in An
Evening of Baroque Music, streamed live on Medici TV. Awards include: F.M.I.
Omaggio a Maria Callas Città di Brescia 2024 (Finalist), Opera Mississippi John
Alexander 2024 (Finalist), James Toland Vocal Arts Competition 2024
