Amanda Larisa Moran, a graduate of Lee University with a Bachelor of Arts in Music, Vocal Emphasis, embodies a deep passion for music rooted in her upbringing in Nyack, NY, and Glenwood Springs, Colorado. Throughout her academic career, Amanda embraced choral music, participating in honor choirs and all-state ensembles. Her introduction to classical music at the Aspen Music Festival in 2019 sparked a newfound interest in opera, shaping her artistic direction. A highlight of Amanda’s journey was her portrayal of Papagena and Spirit 1 in Lee U Opera Theatre’s production of Mozart’s The Magic Flute, as well as the roles of Blue Fairy & Olympia in Pinocchio. She has also showcased her talent in competition settings, having competed in NATS (National Association of Teachers of Singing) and Mobile Opera’s Competition. Amanda spent Summer 2024 at the International Performing Arts Institute in Kiefersfelden, Bavaria, Germany, where she gained invaluable experience in opera performance. In the summer of 2025, she portrayed the role of Oscar in Verdi's Un ballo in Maschera.
