Anabela Barić has graduated opera singing at the Academy of Music in Zagreb in the class of maestro Giorgio Surian. She has an MA in archaeology. She performed the role of Monsieur Rideau in the world premiere of Boris Papandopulo’s opera Madame Buffault at the Croatian National Theatre in Zagreb. She had her operatic debut as Barbarina in Mozart’s Le Nozze di Figaro in the Croatian National Theatre at Zagreb in February 2016. In April and May 2016 she sang the role of Poppea in G. F. Händel’s Agrippina in the production of the Music Academy in Zagreb at the Croatian National Theatre in Zagreb. In March 2017 she sang the role of Lyška Bystrouška in L. Janaček's Cunning Little Vixen in the production of the Music Academy in Zagreb at the Croatian National Theatre in Zagreb. She performed with the Dubrovnik Symphony Orchestra and performs regularly with the Croatian Baroque Ensemble and the Croatian National Radiotelevision Choir. She is member and soloist in the Antiphonus Vocal Ensemble. In February 2017 she had a solo concert of baroque arias at the Katara Opera House in Doha, Qatar with the Doha Baroque Ensemble. In May 2018 she performed Händel’s Silete venti at the renowned baroque festival Internationale Barocktage Stift Melk in Melk, Austria. She graduated with the role of Despina in W. A. Mozart's Cosi fan tutte in the production of the Music Academy in Zagreb at the Croatian National Theatre. Through seasons 2018-19 - 2020-21 she sang the role of Papagena in Mozart’s Die Zauberflöte at the Croatian National Theatre in Zagreb.
