Analeigh Flieger is a lyric soprano known for her full vocal timbre. As an experienced performer, she excels across a range of musical styles, from classical to contemporary. Her deep passion for vocal music allows her to bring a unique and compelling presence to each of her roles.
Analeigh recently made her Wagnerian debut as Helmwige in Die Walküre, collaborating with Alan Held and Aaron Breid. Her experience also includes roles such as Sandman in Humperdinck’s Hänsel und Gretel, Papagena in Mozart’s Die Zauberflöte, and covering Pamina.
During her undergraduate studies at Baldwin Wallace Conservatory, Analeigh performed notable roles including Sesto in Händel’s Giulio Cesare, Barbarina in Mozart’s Le Nozze di Figaro, Valletto in Monteverdi’s L’incoronazione di Poppea, Pemphredo in Nkeiru Okoye’s We’ve Got Our Eye on You, and PJ in the newly composed mini-opera Virtually Dead by Jerry Dye and Kamala Sankaram. Analeigh has also participated in esteemed young artist programs, including Curtis’ Summerfest with Mikael Eliasen, the Trentino Music Festival, the Hawai’i Performing Arts Festival, and the Wagner Institute at the Miami Music Festival.
In addition to her academic and operatic pursuits, Analeigh serves as the soprano section leader at the Church of the Little Flower in Bethesda, Maryland, where she performs as a soloist in the church’s choral and liturgical services.
Analeigh is currently based in Baltimore, Maryland, where she is pursuing her Master of Music degree at the Peabody Institute of Johns Hopkins University as a student of Elizabeth Bishop. As Analeigh continues to explore her love of performing in all areas, she is eager to share that passion with others.
