Anastassia Marr is a Russian-American soprano currently based in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, where she received her Master of Music in Opera Performance at the Wanda L. Bass School of Music at Oklahoma City University. In the Summer of 2025, she joined Painted Sky Opera in their 9th season, covering Papagena in Die Zauberflöte. Previous roles include Nella (Gianni Schicchi), Fiordiligi (Così fan tutte), La Fée (Viardot's Cendrillon), Foreign Princess (Rusalka), and Ida (Die Fledermaus.). As the daughter of a first-generation Russian immigrant, Anastassia also specializes in interpreting works by Rachmaninoff and Tchaikovsky. When she's not onstage, Anastassia maintains a private voice and piano studio. Fluent in French, she was recently appointed 5th and 6th grade French teacher at Casady School in Oklahoma City.
