Angel Jaunita Joyce Sneed is a mezzo-soprano who attends the University of Mobile pursuing her M.M for Vocal Performance w/ Cognate in Vocal Pedagogy. On top of being a singer, she teaches voice, piano and runs her own baking business.
Angel Jaunita Joyce Sneed is a current graduate student. She has previously performed the roles of Mother Abbess in The Sound of Music, the Lay Sisters & The Zelatrice (cover) in Suor Angelica, the Mother (cover)/ Shepherdess in Amahl and the Night Visitors, Waitress in Speed Dating Tonight!, Emmie & Mrs. Herring (cover) in Albert Herring, Cinderella in Cendrillon, Dara in An Embarrassing Position, Francis/Frank in Die Fledermaus, as Dr. Blind in Die Fledermaus, Woman 1 (cover) in Songs for a New World and as Evangelist Antigone in The Gospel at Colonus. She has participated in the Music On Site, Inc Winter Season, Chicago Summer Opera Program, and the Druid City Opera Workshop program. She is currently preparing for the role of Sesto in the University of Mobile's production of "La Clemenza di Tito" by Mozart. Sneed has earned her B.M for Vocal Performance and Composition from the University of West Georgia. She is currently in Graduate School to gain a M.M for Vocal Performance and a Cognate in Vocal Pedagogy from the University of Mobile.
