Soprano Anna Farysej is a graduate of the Manhattan School of Music in New York under the supervision of prof. Mignon Dunn. Currently, a third-year student of doctoral studies at the University of Music in Warsaw in the class of prof. Eugenia Rozlach. She started the 2020/2021 season by singing the part of Juliette in "Roméo et Juliette" by Ch. Gounod directed by Michał Znaniecki, the next projects are two one-act operas by G. Donizetti "Il giovedi grasso" and "Il campanello di notte" at the Warsaw Chamber Opera, and a return to the roles of Fräulein Bürstner and Leni in "The Trial" by P. Glass at the Castle Opera in Szczecin under the baton of Jerzy Wołosiuk. In the previous season, she played the role of Hanna in S. Moniuszko's "The Haunted Manor" under the musical direction of Janusz Przybylski, she sang the part of Juliette in "Roméo et Juliette" by Ch. Gounod in a co-production of the Opera na Zamku in Szczecin and the Bytom Opera and the role of Despina in W. A. Mozart's "Cosi fan tutte" at the Castle Opera. In October 2019, she sang the solo soprano part in W. A. Mozart's Requiem under the baton of Paweł Kapuła together with the Pomeranian Philharmonic in Bydgoszcz. In the 2017/2018 season, she was involved in the Opera Theater of Saint Louis in the USA, where she sang the roles of Alexandra Giddens in the opera "Regina" by M. Blitzstein and Sonia Gonzalez in the world premiere of the opera "An American Solider" by H. Ruo. In November 2017, she played the role of Frasquita in "Carmen" by G. Bizet in Szczecin Opera.
