Anna won the first prize at the Glazunov competition in Paris, and is a participant of many international summer festivals, such as: Aspen Music Festival, Summit Music Festival, Bowdoin Music Festival, Music in the Mountains, Manhattan in the Mountains. After graduating from the Uzpenskiy Special School of Music under the guidance of Mark Zayko, Anna received her Bachelor’s Degree from the Manhattan School of Music in the studio of Grigory Kalinovsky, with the Ruth Chatfield Instrumental Fund scholarship. She also participated in summer masterclasses with Vladimir Zyskind. Currently Anna is pursuing a Doctorate Degree at the Michigan State University College of Music, studying with Dmitri Berlinsky, whom she also serves as an assistant. There she has also received the Johnson Coleman Endowed Memorial Scholarship for MSU. Anna taught at the Okemos Music Academy, which won the “National Music School of the Year” award in 2016. Currently she is on faculty at Albion College. As an orchestral player she recorded two albums for Naxos with The Chamber Orchestra of New York. She also served as a concertmaster of The Youth Synphony Orchestra of Uzbekistan, Michigan State University Symphony Orchestra and Big Apple Festival in New York. She also toured China with the Manhattan Symphonie orchestra and performed at the venues such as Guangzhou Opera House, Shanghai Symphony hall and Carnegie Hall with the orchestra. Currently she is a concertmaster of Albion College Symphony Orchestra and a Principal Second violinist at the International Chamber Soloists orchestra.
