Aoife Schenz is a mezzo soprano and will be pursuing a Masters of Music at San Francisco Conservatory of Music. She is a recent graduate of Boston Conservatory at Berklee with a BM in Voice Performance and an Opera Emphasis. This summer, Aoife performed as Second Lady in Mozart’s The Magic Flute with the Janiec Opera Company. While at Boston Conservatory, she was a study cover for “Hermia” and ensemble member for Britten’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream, as well as the chorus of L’etoile by Chabrier. She premiered the role of “Mother” in After Eve by Lucy Martindale, a student-written and produced opera. In the summer of 2023, Aoife performed as “Tisbe” in a children’s version of Rossini’s La Cenerentola, “Ceres” in Offenbach’s Orphée aux enfers and in the ensemble of Copland’s The Tender Land and Donizetti’s L’elisir d’amore while at Opera in the Ozarks. She currently studies with Catherine Cook and previously studied under Kerry Deal.
