Biography

Ariana Troxell-Layton

Ariana is a soprano originally from Kuna, Idaho. A graduate of the Manhattan School of Music, during her studies she had the opportunity to perform the roles of Nerone from L'incoronazione di Poppea, and Marie from Viardot's Cendrillon. She continues her education at The University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music (CCM) to study with Quinn Patrick Ankrum. Ariana’s most recent performance was with CCM Opera performing the role of Lucinda from Nico Muhly's Dark Sisters. She is excited to again perform with CCM Opera in the role of Noémie in Massenet's Cendrillon this fall.
