American soprano Blair Lipham embodies a radiant presence on the operatic stage, infusing each performance with a vibrant joy and a commanding vocal warmth that captivates audiences. Known for her versatility across repertoire ranging from Baroque to contemporary compositions, Lipham revels in the challenge of imbuing each piece, whether age-old or modern, with her unique and innovative interpretations. Lipham recently earned her Master’s degree in Vocal Performance from Georgia State University.This summer, Lipham made a distinguished international debut in Italy with the Fondazione Pergolesi Spontini, performing in Giovanni Paisiello’s rarely staged opera Le Gare Generose. Her involvement in this unique production reflects her passion for uncovering lesser-known repertoire and her growing presence on the international stage. Her recent performances include commanding performances as Micaëla in Carmen, Nedda in I Pagliacci, and Rosalinde in Die Fledermaus with the Georgia State Opera Theatre, as well as a notable presence in the chorus of The Atlanta Opera’s productions of La Bohème, Die Zauberflöte, Macbeth, and Semele. A devoted performer of sacred music, Lipham is also a beloved member of the Atlanta church music community. She recently appeared as the soprano soloist in Mozart’s Requiem at Holy Trinity Parish, further showcasing her expressive power and stylistic flexibility.Lipham will make her role and company debut with Capitol City Opera as Musetta in La Bohème this September.
