Biography

Caitlin Glastonbury

Caitlin Glastonbury, soprano, is currently based in Ithaca, New York. They earned a Bachelors of Music in Voice Performance from Ithaca College under the tutelage of professor Marc Webster.

Caitlin sings with a number of groups in the Ithaca community, including Cayuga Vocal Ensemble, the Opus School of Music Odyssey Choir as a founding member, and the Dorothy Cotton Jubilee Singers. At Ithaca College, they were a member of Choir, Madrigal Singers, Contemporary Chamber Ensemble, and Vocal Chamber Music. Caitlin has also been featured as a collegiate choral scholar in the First Inversion and Madrigalia choirs in Rochester, New York.

During the summer of 2023, Caitlin continued to grow their passion for performance in a variety of settings. At the Collaborative Piano Institute Vocal Academy at Louisiana State University, they performed in public masterclasses with Kathleen Kelly, Timothy Jones, Amy Petrongelli, Louise Toppin, and Martin Katz. They then travelled to Los Angeles to participate in the N.E.O. Voice Festival, premiering works by composers from around the country and receiving instruction in voice science with David Harris, Lauren Irene, and Fahad Siadat. In July, Caitlin be attended the Sarteano Chamber Choral Conducting Workshop on the Ensemble Singer Track. Caitlin will be joining the choir for Freedom is a Constant Struggle as part of Lincoln Center’s Summer for the City series.
