Camryn Cole is an American soprano specializing in classical and jazz performance and is currently pursuing their Masters of Vocal Performance at DePaul University under the guidance of Amanda Majeski. They recently played the role of Oberto in Handel’s Alcina with Chicago Summer Opera. Other roles include First Witch in FGCU’s production of Dido and Aeneas by Henry Purcell as well as Zweite Dame in scenes from Die Zauberflöte by Wolfgang Amedas Mozart. Camryn also recently performed in the chorus for Opera Naples in their productions of Die Zauberflöte and La Bohème. Camryn is currently a staff singer at St. Clements Church of Chicago where they act as section leader and soloist. During their time at Florida Gulf Coast University, where they obtained their Bachelors of Vocal Performance, Camryn was a recurring featured vocalist with FGCU’s Top Flight Jazz Combo where they performed multiple concerts with names such as Laila Biali and Benny Benack III.
