Carol Jarrett is a vibrant soprano from Enid, Oklahoma known for her lyrical tone, rich coloratura, and compelling presence onstage. She brings authenticity and joy to each performance, connecting deeply with audiences through elegant musical storytelling.
Recent roles include Valencienne (The Merry Widow, Opera in the Ozarks), Rapunzel and Grandma (Into the Woods, Opera in the Ozarks), Jenny Smith (Rise and Fall of the City of Mahagonny, OU University Theatre), and Miss Jessel (The Turn of the Screw, Trentino Music Festival).
She was a semifinalist in the 2024 Texoma NATS, placed 3rd in the Benton-Schmidt Vocal Competition, and 4th in the Oklahoma City Ladies Music Club Competition.
Carol began her professional journey as a Young Artist at Westminster Choir College’s CoOPERAtive Program. Scene credits include Elettra (Idomeneo), Donna Elvira (Don Giovanni), Fiordiligi (Così fan tutte), and Galatea (Acis and Galatea).
