Utilizing music from both Western and non-Western styles, Monkey and Francine in the City of Tigers is an action-packed tale of bravery, smarts, and family ties. Brave Monkey and clever Francine work together to escape the clutches of a dishonest Crocodile and the evil Lord and Lady Tiger to save their family and their kingdom. Their teamwork and bravery show them and their parents that when they work together, they can accomplish anything.

Celebrated for her versatile artistry, Claire Marguerite Iverson is a lyric-coloratura soprano currently based in the Washington D.C. Metro Area. Engagements in the 2024-2025 season include performances as Mabel (The Pirates of Penzance), Frasquita (Carmen), Hope Harcourt (Anything Goes), Francine (Monkey & Francine in the City of Tigers), and Angelina (Trial by Jury), along with several concert and recital engagements. She is a graduate of the Maryland Opera Studio (MM Opera Performance) and of the dual degree program at Johns Hopkins University and the Peabody Institute, where she received both a BM in Vocal Performance and a BA in International Studies and French Language and Literature. Previous engagements include Florencia Grimaldi (Florencia en el Amazonas) Ada Monroe (Cold Mountain), The Reporter (Notes on Viardot), Lady Billows (Albert Herring), Zerlina (Don Giovanni), The Governess (The Turn of the Screw), Donna Elvira (cover, Don Giovanni), and Johanna (cover, Sweeney Todd). Claire attended the Seagle Festival as an Emerging Artist in 2024 and 2025 and remains in New York as the 2025 Seagle Fall Season Resident Soprano. When she is not singing, Claire can be found reading at local cafés, hiking, or trying out new recipes.
