Biography

Clinton Garrison

Clinton Garrison is an artist diploma student at Montclair State University native to Laurel, Maryland. Last season at Montclair State University he was seen in the opera theatre’s productions of Hansel and Gretel and La Callisto as Peter and Giove. Additionally, he participated in a masterclass with Metropolitan Opera baritone, Quinn Kelsey and was a featured soloist alongside Mezzo Soprano J’nai Bridges in concert at Merkin Hall. In February 2026 with the Cali School of Music, Garrison will be making his role debut as Papageno in Die Zauberflöte with Montclair State University’s opera theatre program. In 2023 Garrison was the baritone soloist in Lera Auerbach's Symphony No.6 "Vessels of Light" with Festival Napa Valley and as well was seen as the Notary in Festival Napa Valley’s production of Don Pasquale starring American baritone Lucas Meachem. Additionally in the summer of 2023 Garrison was selected as a study grant artist with the Savannah Voice Festival where he was a part of the Sherill Milnes Studio. In 2021 Garrison was one of ten singers selected for the inaugural LA Opera HBCU Opera Career Comprehensive mentorship program.
