Biography

Coleman Dziedzic

Coleman Dziedzic is a tenor and self-proclaimed “singing actor” in the worlds of opera, operetta, and musical theatre. He is excited to join Fort Worth Opera as one of their Resident Artists for the 2025-2026 season. With Fort Worth Opera, Coleman will debut as Roméo in Gounod’s Roméo et Juliette as well as Avenant in the fall main stage production of Philip Glass’ La Belle et La Bête. He can also be seen as the Registrar and Goro (cover) for the spring main stage production of Puccini’s Madama Butterfly.

As a resident artist, Coleman has enjoyed performing children's operas such as Jonathan Davies’ Three Little Pigs as part of FWO’s Education and Community Outreach Program at elementary schools in the larger Dallas-Fort Worth area.

Coleman’s previous engagements brought him to new places and repertoire, including Glasgow, Scotland where he debuted as Don Ottavio in Clyde Opera Group’s production of Mozart’s Don Giovanni. He has found a comfortable place in light opera, having joined the Chicago Gilbert & Sullivan community for productions of Iolanthe with the Savoyaires and Pirates of Penzance with Gilbert & Sullivan of Chicago.

Coleman trained with Stephanie Tingler at the University of Georgia, where he debuted as Normanno and Arturo in Donizetti’s Lucia di Lammermoor, and he continued his studies with Allan Glassman at Roosevelt University, where he performed his capstone performance as Tobias in CCPA’s production of Jonathan Dove’s Tobias and The Angel.
