(He/Him) Tenor Conner McWhirter will be seen this November as Calaf in Turandot with Taconic Opera.  Most recently he sang Remendado in Carmen with Charlottesville Opera. Last spring he also sang Remendado and covered Don Jose with Shreveport Opera, along with singing Spoletta and covering Cavaradossi in Tosca. Last winter, he made his debut as Rodolfo in La Boheme with Shakespeare Opera Theater. Prior to this, he covered Arturo in Lucia at Sarasota Opera.

Biography

Conner McWhirter

Tenor Conner McWhirter will be seen this November as Calaf in Turandot with Taconic Opera.  Most recently he sang Remendado in Carmen with Charlottesville Opera. Last spring he also sang Remendado and covered Don Jose with Shreveport Opera, along with singing Spoletta and covering Cavaradossi in Tosca. Last winter, he made his debut as Rodolfo in La Boheme with Shakespeare Opera Theater. Prior to this, he covered Arturo in Lucia at Sarasota Opera. He received a performance diploma from Indiana University,  Masters of Music from Southern Methodist University, and Bachelors of Music from the Eastman School of Music.
