Corbin Gray was raised in Amarillo Texas. He was born to a musical family, and was playing instruments and singing in church from a very young age. Over the course of his life, Corbin has played piano, the cello, marching and concert percussion, and has sung classically. He started singing in high school, and was a singer for the Texas All-State Choir three years in a row. He started singing classically with Paige Brown, an opera singer from Amaillo, Texas. Corbin Gray currently studies under Dr. Rick Piersall at Abilene Christian University. Corbin Gray has sung in several opera productions during his time at Abilene Christian University, and around the world with young artist programs: the role of Pandolfe in Cendrillon, Father in Hansel and Gretel, Melchior in Amahl and the Night Visitors, Papageno in Die Zauberflöte and Jigger in Carousel. Corbin has also won multiple awards both inside and outside his college, from Best Jury at ACU, to being a finalist in the national NATS competition, to winning his division of an international classical singing competition in Washington, D.C.. Corbin hopes to attend graduate school and pursue a career in opera.
