Biography

Daniella Brancato

Daniella Brancato is a soprano from Great Neck, New York where she is currently in her second year of the Professional Voice Studies program at the Mannes School of Music under the tutelage of Amy Burton. She holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Vocal Performance from Carnegie Mellon University.

This season at Mannes, Brancato will appear as Simone in La Passion de Simone by Kaija Saariaho. Past performances at Mannes include: Harriet Beecher Stowe in Kamala Sankaram’s The Infinite Energy of Ada Lovelace, and Lauren in a workshop of Many Roads with conductor and composer Daniela Candillari. Brancato also performed in a selection from Ricky Ian Gordon’s This House as part of the Works & Process/Opera Theatre of Saint Louis series at The Guggenheim.

Her previous operatic credits include Donna Elvira (Don Giovanni), Fiordiligi (Così fan tutte), Arminda (La finta giardiniera), and the roles of Armchair, Bat, Shepherdess, and Owl (L’enfant et les sortilèges). Brancato was a participant of the Houston Grand Opera’s Young Artist Vocal Academy (2024) and attended the 2024 Prague Summer Nights Festival.
