Dominik was born in 1994 in Tarnowskie Góry (Poland). He began learning violin at the age of seven. Taught by Janusz Skramlik, he got BA degree in 2016 in Karol Szymanowski Academy of Music in Katowice. In following academic year Dominik was a member of Erich Höbarth’s class in HMT Leipzig (ERASMUS+ programme). Two year of tuition under Roland Baldini brought him MA degree with a distinction in 2018 in Katowice. Now, Dominik is PhD student of Szymon Krzeszowiec in the same Academy. In 2017 granted with a scholarship from Polish Ministry of Culture and National Heritage.  During his studies he has taken part in masterclasses with Ivry Gitlis, Rainer Honeck, Zsolt Tihamer-Visontay, Barnabás Kelemen, Alena Baeva, Philippe Graffin, Piotr Tarcholik and Jakub Jakowicz. Dominik was awarded in solo (Dolný Kubín, Barletta) and chamber competitions (Bydgoszcz, Gdańsk), what gave him an opportunity to perform as a soloist with Silesian Philharmonic Symphony Orchestra Katowice, Silesian Chamber Orchestra and Kalisz Philharmonic Orchestra. Dominik’s passion to chamber music was noticeable during festivals such as ENSEMBLE Festival in Książ Castle, Musethica Festival in Berlin or “Chopin and his Europe” Festival in Warsaw. As member of different orchestras he took part in Music in Summer Air Festival in Shanghai (China) and „Bogotá es la Rusia Romántica” (Colombia). His main area of activity is orchestral playing. He was a concertmaster of Young Polish Philharmonic Orchestra (2011-2018, 64 concerts), International Lutosławski Youth Orchestra (2015-2017) and academic orchestras. He was also a participant of Sinfonia Varsovia’s orchestral academy (2017-2018), now collaborating with Haydn Philharmonie, National Polish Radio Symphony Orchestra, Staatskapelle Halle, City of Tychy Chamber Orchestra AUKSO and New Music Orchestra Katowice. Member of EUYO since 2019. Since September 2018 Dominik is a concertmaster of Kalisz Philharmonic Orchestra (Poland).
