Dylan Rausch is a distinguished American tenor currently pursuing an Artist Diploma in Opera Performance at the Mason Gross School of the Arts, where he studies under Dr. Bille Bruley. He obtained his Master’s degree in Vocal Performance from Indiana University of Pennsylvania in 2024, under the guidance of Dr. Joseph Baunoch.
Rausch has received accolades for his vocal achievements, including being named the winner of the 2021-22 Concerto/Aria Competition at Northern State University, where he earned his bachelor’s degree in vocal performance, and earning the distinction of runner-up in the South Dakota NATS Competition. His extensive stage experience encompasses a variety of roles, including Barber in Man of La Mancha, Lawrence in Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, Harlequin in Der Kaiser von Atlantis, Frederic in The Pirates of Penzance, Monostatos in Die Zauberflöte, King Kaspar in Amahl and the Night Visitors, and Basilio in Le Nozze di Figaro. Additionally, he has demonstrated his versatility by covering the roles of Don José, El Remendado, and Tamino.
In addition to her work on the operatic stage, Rausch has honed his craft through participation in several distinguished young artist programs, including the Austrian American Mozart Academy, Manhattan Opera Studio, Taos Opera Institute, and Music On Site Inc.
In the summer of 2023, Dylan J. Rausch debuted at Carnegie Hall with the Manhattan Opera Studio, showcasing excerpts from Mozart’s opera Die Zauberflöte. He also had the honor of performing with Andrea Bocelli during his final tour at the PPG Arena in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
