(She/Her) Soprano Elizabeth Kirkconnell recently graduated from Rice University with a Master of Music degree under the tutelage of Ana María Martínez. While there, she performed as Alcina in Alcina in concert, Damigella in L’incoronazione di Poppea, and Freia in excerpted scenes from Das Rheingold. She was awarded the Schissler Foundation Graduate Fellowship in Opera Studies. She received her Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance from the University of North Florida in 2021.

Biography

Elizabeth Kirkconnell

Soprano Elizabeth Kirkconnell recently graduated from Rice University with a Master of Music degree under the tutelage of Professor Ana María Martínez. While there, she performed as Alcina in Alcina in concert, Freia in excerpted scenes from Das Rheingold, and Damigella in L’incoronazione di Poppea. She was awarded the Schissler Foundation Graduate Fellowship in Opera Studies. She received her Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance from the University of North Florida, graduating summa cum laude as a member of the Hicks Honors College in 2021. During her undergraduate studies, she performed as the Sorceress in Dido and Aeneas, Miss Todd in The Old Maid and the Thief, Ramiro in La finta giardiniera, and Dritte Dame in Die Zauberflöte.
