Elizabeth Pojanowski is gaining renown in opera houses and concert halls across the country for her voice and for her electric stage presence. As The New York Observer said of her performance of Isolier in Loft Opera's wildly successful run of Le Comte Ory, "The breakout performer of this show, though, was mezzo Elizabeth Pojanowski, who looked almost shockingly like a boy in the trouser role of the page Isolier. Even better, her big, colorful mezzo radiated star quality." Her musical and dramatic versatility has been highlighted in a broad range of roles and concert work.
She made her New York City Opera debut as Shelley in the American premiere of Anna Nicole in 2013. In 2014, Pojanowski also made her Opera Omaha debut as Tisbe in
La Cenerentola, a role which she also performed with New York City Opera in the spring of 2016. She returns to Omaha to sing Siebel in their 2019 production of Faust. In 2015 she sang Dorabella in Annapolis Opera's production of Così fan tutte and then originated the role of Sadie in the the world premiere of Ricky Ian Gordon's beautiful opera,
Morning Star with Cincinnati Opera. In 2016, she sang her first Cherubino in Aidan Lang's stunning production of Le nozze di Figaro with Seattle Opera.
