Elliott Paige
(He/Him) Tenor, Elliott Paige is a native of Hampton, Virginia. Elliott has been praised for his "handsome and sweetly rounded tenor" (Judith Malafonte, Opera News). He is a former Apprentice Artist with Santa Fe Opera, Opera Theatre of St. Louis, The Glimmerglass Festival and Chautauqua opera. Due to cancellations in response to Covid-19, Elliott has been using his time by fostering relationships with budding music organizations and teaching voice.

Biography

Elliott Paige

Tenor, Elliott Paige is a native of Hampton, Virginia. Mr. Paige is an alumnus of The Manhattan School of Music and James Madison University.. Most recently Elliott performed with the Metropolitan Opera Extra Chorus in their production of Flying Dutchman, which unfortunately was cut short due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Prior to his time in New York, Elliott was an Apprentice Artist with the Santa Fé Opera, where he sang the role of Parpignol in a new production of La Bohème. Within the 2019 season, Elliott also performed as the Quartet Tenor in the world premiere of Today It Rains with Opera Parallèle. Other recent credits include recurring apprenticeship with the Santa Fé Opera; Apprentice Artist with Palm Beach Opera, where he covered Governor and Ragotski in Candide and Spoletta in Tosca. As a Young Artist with Glimmerglass Opera, Mr. Paige performed Giacomo de Wisants in L'assedio di Calais, and as a Gerdine Young Artist with Opera Theater of St. Louis he premiered the role of Bombur Yambarzal in Shalimar the Clown. As a student, he performed Duncan in Bloch's Macbeth, and Orlando in Haydn's Orlando Paladino. In the 2020 season, at Opera Theatre of St. Louis, Elliott was slated to perform the role of Frank in Tobias Pickers new opera Awakenings while covering Le Remendado in Carmen, but was not able due to cancellations in response to the Covid-19 pandemic. Elliott has been using his time by fostering relationships with budding music and EDIA organizations, hosting his webcast: "What's The Tea? with ACP!" as teaching locally and performing virtually.
