Federico Longhi

Internationally affirmed artist , Federico Longhi debuted the role of Amonasro in 2018 at the Arena of Verona directed by M° Daniel Oren. The same  year he was Guy de Monfort in Les Vepres Siciliennes at the Wurzburg Festival and at the Bayerischer Staatsoper in Munich,   Enrico in Lucia di Lammermoor in Genoa, Gianni Schicchi title role in Novara  and Sulpice in La Fille du Regiment in Bologna. This season he performed  Malatesta in Verona , Tonio in Palermo, Gianni Schicchi in Genoa and Verona, Michonnet in Adriana Lecouvreur in Verona   Longhi began 2016 with a debut in the role of Rigoletto at the Teatro Filarmonico in Verona, obtaining a great success with the public and critics; then as Escamillo in Carmen at Shanghai and Beijing; In 2017 Longhi sang his first Falstaff at the Landestheatre of Linz (A) where he returned as Rigoletto in the 2017-18 season, a role that led him to make his debut in France at the Nice Opera House , and another debut in 2017 in the role of Alfio in the Cavalleria Rusticana for the Opera Giocosa of Savona. In September 2017, at the Ravenna Festival he was Amonasro under direction of Riccardo Muti. Recent important engagements include La Traviata directed by Henning Brockhaus at the Teatro Massimo in Palermo and in Maribor directed by Hugo de Ana, La Bohème at the Festival Pucciniano at Torre del Lago directed by Ettore Scola and the inauguration of the new opera house in Zhuhai (China) with Puccini’s Turandot. Longhi has been a guest soloist in the major Italian theaters including the Verona Arena, Napoli San Carlo, Bologna Comunale, Palermo Massimo, Parma Regio, Torino Regio, Trieste Verdi, Genoa Carlo Felice, Maggio Musicale Fiorentino and other Italian and foreign theaters. In the future Longhi will sing Conte di Luna in Linz , Nabucco in Erfurt, Nottingham in Roberto Devereux in Palermo and Lucia in Nice. Federico Longhi studied at the Music Academy of Senigallia with Maestro Leone Magiera, at the Toscanini Foundation in Parma, at the Rossini Academy in Pesaro with Maestro Alberto Zedda, at the Katia Ricciarelli International Academy and at the Accademia di Alto perfezionamento Verona Arena under the guidance of Raina Kabaivanska.
